In honor of Nautique's 100th Anniversary, I developed an immersive, interactive scrolling experience that highlights Nautique’s rich brand history.
Nautique Boats is a popular boat manufacturer known for crafting world-class wakeboarding, waterskiing, and wakesurfing boats with cutting-edge performance, innovation, and design.
I developed this interactive scrolling site using GSAP, JavaScript, HTML, and Bootstrap to enhance Nautique’s story by featuring engaging animations and a dynamic timeline. With photos that spin into view, a sticky timeline that follows you down the page as you scroll, and adding interactivity where users can jump to any year with a click, this single-page site invites users to explore how Nautique started and where they are now.
How I tied in animations along with user-friendly functionality
In celebration of Nautique’s centennial anniversary, I combined clean front-end code with dynamic animations. I built a scroll-following timeline and clickable navigation using vanilla JavaScript and GSAP for a smooth scrolling experience. I added a typewriter effect for an extra layer of interactivity, while making sure the site was still responsive and accessible for all. This resulted in an experience that invites users to explore Nautique’s legacy in a fun, engaging way.
